World Cup 2010 Ball

The Adidas Jabulani is the official World Cup 2010 Ball. The ball was unveiled in Cape Town, South Africa on December 4, 2009. Jabulani was developed at Loughborough University, UK and means “rejoice” in Zulu.

The brawl was additionally acclimated as the bout brawl of 2009 FIFA Club World Cup in the United Arab Emirates, & a special version of the ball, that call Jabulani Angola, was the match ball of the African Cup of Nations. This ball is also used in the 2010 Clausura Tournament of Argentina as well as the 2010 MLS season in the USA in the league’s colours of blue and green.

The Jabaluni has four triangular design elements on a white background. Eleven different colours are used, representing the eleven players on a football team, the eleven South African communities and the eleven official languages of South Africa.

The Jabulani Angola, used at the 2010 African Cup of Nations in Angola, was coloured to represent the yellow, red, and black of the host nation’s flag. For the final to be held in Johannesburg on 11 July, a special match ball will be used with gold panels. The ball will be called the “Jo’bulani”, playing off the Johannesburg nickname of “The Golden City”.

For the World Cup Final match use a gold version of the Jabulani ball, the Jo’bulani. The name of the ball inspired by the city of Johannesburg, which is often nicknamed Jo’burg and will be the site of the 2010 Final. This is the second World Cup Final ball to be produced, the other for the 2006 World Cup. The alone teams able to use it will be the two teams in the final.

The Jabaluni balls are made in China, using latex bladders made in India, thermoplastic polyurethane-elastomer from Taiwan, ethylene vinyl acetate, isotropic polyester/cotton fabric, glue, and ink from China.

Aero Grooves Of Jabulani Create The Clearly Visible Profile On The Ball’s Surface

Saturday, June 12th, 2010

Jabulani Ball

Adidas and FIFA accept today presented the adidas “JABULANI”, the Official Match Ball for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™, which has been developed in affiliation with academics at Loughborough University.

The “JABULANI”, which agency “to celebrate” in isiZulu, appearance a South African aggressive architecture and radically new technology. The new jabulani ball, soon will be available in shop which was unveiled in Cape Town.

Aero grooves actualize the acutely arresting contour on the ball’s surface. The Grip’n’Groove contour circles annular the absolute brawl in an optimal aerodynamic way. The integrated grooves provide unmatched flight characteristics, making this the most stable and most accurate adidas ball ever. The ground-breaking performance features of the adidas “JABULANI” have been confirmed in comprehensive comparison tests and checks in the wind tunnel at Loughborough University and the adidas football laboratory in Scheinfeld, Germany.

If you hit a solid, controlled attempt that flies straight, it will break ultra straight. You will get an added 10 yards out of the brawl with a nice little dip at the end. But, if you put some spin on the ball, it moves! When I say the ball moves, I mean it dips, and weaves, and turns like no other!

The Jabulani is going to be every goalkeeper’s nightmare, and every striker’s greatest Christmas gift. To be honest, I can’t wait to see Cristiano Ronaldo strike this ball, Jabulani Soccer Ball because when he does it could be spectacular! I spent some time taking shots and it absolutely pings. The World Cup 2010 Ball is a very light ball and when you strike it clean it moves fast. In a sense, it reminds me of a plastic ball and it sounds plastic when you bounce it.

Striking it is a different story, as the ball feels like a leather ball, only it seems to encompass your foot when you strike it. When you control the ball off a long pass, you can feel the energy of the ball on your foot. Even though it is super light, there is a lot of power hidden inside!

One of customer review is Delia De La Torre. Here is what he said about Jabulani Ball “The ball is original, as described. Arrived in time for my husband birthday. He is loving it!.”
